Five Indicted By Frederick County Grand Jury

One is suspected of raping a teenage girl.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury handed down five indictments on Friday.  One was against Jose Misael Escobar, 23, of Frederick, whose charged with one count of 2nd-degree rape, and two counts of 3rd-degree sex offense. He was arrested earlier this month for raping a 14-year-old girl.

Frederick Police say the two met on line,where Escobar told the girl he was 17. The two went to room Escobar  was renting, and he forced himself on her, even though she objected. He sexually assaulted her a second time, two weeks later, according to authorities These incidents took place in late fall or early winter, 2017, but the victim didn’t tell anyone until May, 2018.

Also indicted was Daniel Green, 46 of New Market. He was arrested for strangling a woman to a point where she became unconscious. That incident took place on Monday, November 11th. Green was indicted for 1st-degree assault, and 2nd-degree assault.

Marcel Williams, 29, of Frederick was indicted on one count of 1st-degree assault, and two counts of 2nd-degree assault. He was arrested on Sunday, November 3rd for assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute.

Other indictments handed down include:

*Brian Davis Parker, 38, of Frederick, whose charged with 1st-degree burglary, 3rd-degree burglary, 4th-degree burglary of a dwelling, and 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred on November 10th, 2019.

*Matthew Alexander Donohue, 41, whose charged with distribution, possession and possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

These cases will head to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
