Frederick, MD – The 4th Annual Overdose and Prevention Vigil is next month, featuring speakers and a candlelight vigil to memorialize lost friends and family.
State’s Attorney Charlie Smith will be an included speaker, and leadership from Frederick County law enforcement and fire will also be present.
“This year once again will be an emotional look at the reality impacting so many in the community,” State’s Attorney Spokesperson Will Cockey said. “We hope that the evening will serve as an opportunity to remember lost loved ones and a for families to connect in support.”
Ten local agencies and non-profits will be present at the event and will have tables to provide resources to anyone that needs help.
The event will be in the FCC Student Center on December 3 from 6-8pm.
