Police: Man held thief in chokehold until officers arrived
WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) – Authorities in Maryland responding to a reported car theft found the suspect already detained by a third party who held him in a chokehold until officers arrived. Local media reports 28-year-old Cutler J. Keene was arrested Sunday on charges including unlawful taking of a vehicle. Westminster police records say a woman told officers that she heard a noise that morning and looked outside to see her car moving away. She said she woke a man in the home and they went outside, where they found Keene and an unidentified accomplice. She said the man wrestled with Keene while Keene’s assumed partner fled.
