* WHAT…Freezing rain expected. Ice accumulations around one to
two tenths of an inch expected, with around a quarter inch
possible over the Catoctin Mountains.
* WHERE…Portions of north-central Maryland.
* WHEN…Until midnight EST tonight.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact the morning commute with slippery roads
as well as slippery sidewalks.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.
When venturing outside, watch your first few steps taken on
steps, sidewalks, and driveways, which could be icy and slippery,
increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
