State Police say two people were medivaced.
Braddock Heights, Md (KM) Two people were medivaced following a two-vehicle crash in Frederick County Saturday afternoon.
State Police say at around 1:30 PM, troopers responded to the intersection of Old National Pike (Rt. 40A) at Dogwood Lane where Toyota RAV4 and a Nissan Sentra collided head-on.
A woman in the RAV4 was transported to the hospital by ambulance. A man and a woman in the Sentra were flown out by Maryland State Police helicopter.
That intersection was closed for about six hours while troopers conducted their investigation. Motorists were detoured by the State Highway Administration to Hollow Road and Ridge Road.
The intersection was reopened at around 8:30 Saturday evening.
