Fire Damages Home In Mt. Airy

No one was injured.

 

 

Mt. Airy, Md  (KM)  The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says damage from a house Saturday morning in Mount Airy is estimated at $15,000 to the home, and $10,000 to the contents.

At around 10:00 AM, 30 fire fighters responded to 6363 Albers Drive for a two-story, single family home on fire. It took them 30-minutes to bring the flames under control. No one was injured.

Authorities say the fire started in the attic, but the cause remains under investigation.

The blaze was discovered by the occupants.
