Police say a reward is being offered for information which leads to his arrest.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) Hagerstown Police have released the name of the suspect being sought in a stabbing Wednesday in the area of Church and Jonathan Streets He’s Charles Derrick Watkins, 32, of Hagerstown.
Authorities say his whereabouts are unknown. Watkins was last seen leaving the area of foot following the stabbing. . A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
Meanwhile, the victim remains in critical condition.
On Wednesday afternoon at 12:16, officers were dispatched for an assault in progress in the area of Church and Jonathan Streets They found a woman suffering from stab wounds. She was transported to Meritus Medical Center. The suspect fled the scene.
Officers conducted a search of the area for that individual, but came up empty.
