Residents, Organizations Invited To Apply For Sustainability Awards

Winners will be announced in March.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Applications are being taken for the 2020 Sustainability Awards. The honors are bestowed by the Frederick County Sustainability Commission to recognize individuals and organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to help the county when it comes to sustainability. That can include but not limited to implementing energy efficiency, encouraging the use of renewable energy, and improving air and water quality. Awards are based on leadership, innovation and success in sustainability.

They are available to individuals (non-students), student and student groups, non-profits and commercial enterprises.

Applications are due no later than Thursday, February 13th at 5:00 PM. Submissions should be sent to [email protected]..

Winners will be presented with their awards on Thursday, March 26th at the Annual Green Homes Challenge Recognition Week.
