Troopers, along with fire and rescue crews, responded to Route 15 and Mountville road for a collision between a sedan and large truck towing a trailer.
One person was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, and a second patient was medivaced to Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC. A third person was taken by ambulance to Frederick Health Hospital.
As of 8:45 PM, all southbound lanes are closed in that area. One northbound lane and the shoulder are open, according to the CHART website.
State Police urge motorists traveling in that area to take an alternate route.
