State offices will be closed.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County Government administrative offices and the public library will be open on Monday, February 17th, which is President’s Day.
Animal Control will be open from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM for the showing and the adoption of pets. Curbside recycling will operate on normal schedules, and the landfill on Reichs Ford Road will be open from 7::00 AM to 4:30 PM. .
The Board of Elections, the Department of Social Services and much of the Health Department will be closed on Monday. The divisions at the Health Department which will be closed are administration, including birth and death certificate services, Behavioral Health, Community Health Services, including WIC Services; Environmental Health; Health Care Connection and Preparedness, including health insurance enrollment services; Mental Health Services; and the Office of Planning, Assessment and Communication.
The Health Department divisions which will be open on Monday are Audiology Services, the Dental Program, Infant and Toddlers Program, and the School Health Program. Visit www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/health or call 301-600-1029 for more information.
TransIT Services will operate on a normal schedule. MARC will run on an “R” schedule, but Commuter Bus Service will be canceled.
