Some county teams will move on to the regional championships starting Friday evening.
Frederick, MD – Tuesday evening was the best of high school basketball as the county’s top teams faced off in the Annual Central Maryland Championships held at The PNC Arena at Hood College.
In the opening game, the Linganore and Oakdale boys fought all the way to the buzzer. The Linganore Lancers defeated the Oakdale Bears 54 to 51.
In the second game, the Frederick High and Middletown High girls competed. The Middletown Lady Knights defeated the Frederick High Lady Cadets 70-44.
