The victim is in serious condition
Point of Rocks, Md. (DG)- A woman was hit by a train early Thursday morning in Point of Rocks.
Police were sent to the accident shortly before 8 a.m. on Route 28 between Bank St. and Potomac Ave.
Scanner reports say a 30-year-old woman was trying to cross a platform when she was hit by a freight train.
Police may fly the woman to a hospital for treatment. She is in serious condition.
