The hospital says this is to proactively plan for infrastructure needs
Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – Meritus Medical Center has put up emergency management surge tents in front of their emergency department.
The hospital says this is to proactively plan for infrastructure needs, as well as to complete simulation workflows during the current Maryland state of emergency. These tents are not currently being used for operations, but are part of the ongoing planning and preparation for potential surge needs in the future.
