Additional locations have been added.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County School System is adding “Grab ‘N Go” suppers for children getting breakfast and lunch from area schools. Those meals will be available from 11:30 A-M until 12:30 P-M at eight locations around the county.
They are:
. Ballenger Creek Elementary*
. Crestwood Middle*
. Frederick High*
. Hillcrest Elementary*
. Lincoln Elementary*
. Monocacy Elementary*
. North Frederick Elementary*
. Waverley Elementary*
At these locations, breakfast will be served between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, and lunch is dished out between 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
Eight more will be added Wednesday, March 18th for “lunches to go” from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
They are:
Brunswick – Rite Aid Parking Lot, Brunswick Heights Shopping Center, 92 Souder Road, Brunswick
Buckeystown United Methodist Church – Parking Lot, 3440 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick
Emmitsburg Elementary – School Parking Lot, 300 South Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg
Heather Ridge – School Parking Lot, 1445 Taney Avenue, Frederick
Lucas Village Community Center – 111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Frederick
Max Kehne Ball Field – Parking Lot, 1100 West 7th Street, Frederick
Thurmont Elementary – School Parking Lot, 805 E. Main Street, Thurmont
Walkersville – Discovery Shopping Center Parking Lot (Goodwill Store), 8425 Woodsboro Pike, Walkersville
Look for the bright yellow school buses at each of these locations.
The School System is offering free meals to all children 18 years and younger, and adults enrolled in an education plan or who have disabilities can also take part. Participants do not have to live in Frederick County, or attend Frederick County Public Schools.

Schools have been ordered closed from now until Friday, March 27th due to the coronavirus outbreak. Crews will be cleaning and disinfecting the buildings.
