It’s in response to the COVID-19 emergency.
Frederick, Md (KM) TransIT Services of Frederick County says it will be providing free rides for all of its services through Saturday, March 28th. The agency says this action is in response to the coronavirus emergency.
This free ride service includes TransIT-plus, and Connector and shuttle services. Customers who use the mobile ticketing app should not activate their passes.
In a statement, TransIT says providing free trips brings about a reduction in direct contact between driver and passengers.
