There’s a new locations for ‘Grab’N Go’ suppers.
Frederick, Md (KM) Some changes have been made in the Frederick County School System’s program to feed students while schools are closed.
Beginning on Thursday at eight locations around the county, children must take their meals to go. Also, the School System says kids who normally get their “Grab ‘N Go” suppers at Emmitsburg Elementary School will now pick them up at the Jubilee Foods’ Parking Lot at 515 East Main Street in Emmitsburg. Just look for the bright yellow school bus.
The other locations where bagged lunches are available are:
Brunswick – Rite Aid Parking Lot, Brunswick Heights Shopping Center, 92 Souder Road, Brunswick
Buckeystown United Methodist Church – Parking Lot, 3440 Buckeystown Pike, Frederick
Heather Ridge – School Parking Lot, 1445 Taney Avenue, Frederick
Jubilee Foods Parking Lot, 515 E. Main Street, Emmitsburg
Lucas Village Community Center – 111 Pennsylvania Avenue, Frederick
Max Kehne Ball Field – Parking Lot, 1100 West 7th Street, Frederick
Thurmont Elementary – School Parking Lot, 805 E. Main Street, Thurmont
Walkersville – Discovery Shopping Center Parking Lot (Goodwill Store), 8425 Woodsboro Pike, Walkersville
The School System says some sandwich options include turkey and cheese, ham and cheese, Italian combo and wowbutter, an all-natural, nut-free peanut butter substitute.
Though March 27th, breakfast is served to go between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, and lunches to go are served from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at these following locations:
Ballenger Creek Elementary School
Crestwood Middle School
Frederick High School
Hillcrest Elementary School
Lincoln Elementary School
North Frederick Elementary School
Waverly Elementary School
At all locations, children must take their meals to go.
All children age 18 and under are eligible to receive meals to go. They do not need to attend Frederick County Public Schools. Adults who are enrolled in education programs for persons with disabilities can also participate.
