Second Coronavirus Death In Maryland

He’s a Baltimore County resident.

 

 

Maryland has recorded a second death from the coronvirus.  The Governor’s Office reported Friday night  it’s a Baltimore County man in  his 60’s who had an underlying medical condition.

“On behalf of our entire state, we send our heartfelt condolences to his family and those who loved him,” said Governor Larry Hogan in a statement.

The man’s name  and hometown were not  revealed by the Governor’s office.

On Wednesday, Governor Hogan reported that a Prince George’s County man in his 60’s was the first to die in Maryland from the coronavirus.  He had not traveled recently, and acquirec the virus through community transmission.  But he also had underlying health problems

“As the number of positive cases in Maryland continues to dramatically rise, we need everyone to take this seriously,” Hogan said, in a statement. “This is a public health crisis like nothing we’ve ever faced before–we are all in this together, and we will get through this together.”
