2 people killed, another injured in Maryland car crash
COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) – Two people in a car died and a third was critically injured when the vehicle struck a tree in the median of a Maryland road. Howard County police say the accident happened early Sunday in Columbia. The driver and the rear passenger were killed. The front passenger was in critical condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police said they don’t know the reason why the vehicle entered the median but a preliminary review found speed was a factor in the accident.
