Health Officials In The 4-State Region Reporting New Coronavirus Cases

Frederick, Md. (DG) – Maryland Health officials are reporting a man from Prince Georges County has died from the coronavirus. The man was in his 60s, and had an underlying medical condition. This marks the state’s fourth death from COVID-19.

As of Tuesday evening there are 349 cases in Maryland, 61 more than Monday. This is the biggest one-day jump of the disease in the state.

Frederick County has four cases of COVID-19. Three women and one man. They all are recovering at home.

Washington County reported two additional coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing the county’s total to four. The new cases are a woman in her 40s and another woman in her 60s. Both women had mild symptoms and are at home.

West Virginia has 20 cases as of Tuesday evening, including three in Jefferson County.

Virginia has 290 cases of the coronavirus. Loudoun County is reporting 18.

Pennsylvania has 851 cases, with Franklin County reporting three.
