Coronavirus Cases Continue To Increase In Maryland

They’re now more than 700.

 

 

Annapolis, Md (KM) The number of coronavirus cases in Maryland is climbing. The Governor’s Office says there are now 774 COVID-19 cases in the state, which is an increase of 425 over the past three days.

In Frederick County, there are 13 cases of the coronavirus; five cases in Washington County; nine cases in Carroll County; and 208 in Montgomery County.

The Maryland Health Department says the number of coronavirus cases in National Capital Region, which includes Maryland, DC and Virginia, has reached more than 1500, which is four-and-a-half times what they were a week ago.

“Our state has already faced and overcome some daunting challenges before, and we will do so again,” Governor Larry Hogan said in a statement.
