He is suspected of setting two barns on fire in Pennsylvania
Carroll County, Md. (DG) – A 64-year-old man is behind bars in Carroll County for threatening to burn down a home.
Deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office took David Sterner into custody on Friday and charged him with threat of arson.
Police say Sterner is suspected of setting two barns on fire on Lineboro Rd in Pennsylvania, which is 200 yards from the Carroll County line.
Investigators say after setting fire to the barns, Sterner walked to a home in the 3400 block of Tracey’s Mill Rd and made threats of arson. Police responded and he was taken into custody.
After a bail review hearing in Maryland, Sterner will be extradited to York County, Pennsylvania.
