Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Health Department announced the county’s first death from the coronavirus. It’s a woma in her 90’s with underlying medical conditions.
“I am deeply saddened to announced this loss,” says Health Officer Dr. Barbara Brookmyer, in a statement.. “We hope that the family will receive support from theri friens and neighbors as we share the news of the passing of their family member. We know that many in our community will experience losses as more people die from COVID-19.. This ia sobering reminder of the risk that this virus poses.
