18 deaths in Maryland due to COVID-19
Frederick, Md. (DG) – The number of coronavirus case continues to rise in Maryland. The Maryland State Health Department is reporting 1,660 cases and 18 deaths.
In Frederick County there are 33 cases of COVID-19. They are in people between 10 to over 80 years old.
Carroll County has 92 cases of coronavirus, Washington County 14, Howard County 117, and Montgomery County 388. Hogan said there will be no out-of-state travel unless absolutely necessary, and those who do travel out of state should self quarantine for 14 days when they return.
Pennsylvania has 4,087 cases of COVID-19 with 8 in Adams County, and 12 in Franklin County.
West Virginia has 145 cases of coronavirus, with 6 in Jefferson County and 14 in Berkeley County. Governor Jim Justice also issued a stay-at-home order and closed all state parks and campgrounds. He ordered all people coming from high-risk areas to quarantine for 14 days .
