Coronavirus Cases In Region Continue To Soar

Over 2,300 cases of COVID-19 in Maryland

Frederick, Md. (DG) – The number of coronavirus cases in Maryland rose by 346 on Thursday, bringing the state’s total to 2331 with 36 deaths.

Frederick County has 63 cases of COVID-19. Officials say 20 of those patients have recovered, and five have been hospitalized. Two deaths from the coronavirus have been reported in Frederick County.

Carroll County has 105 cases of coronavirus, Washington County 32, Howard County 152, and Montgomery County 498.

Pennsylvania has 7,016 cases of COVID-19 with 18 in Adams County, and 23 in Franklin County.

West Virginia has 217 cases of coronavirus, 12 in Jefferson County, and 27 in Berkeley County.
