It will begin accepting applications on Monday, Apr. 13th.

Brunswick, Md (KM) The application process for a new Micro-Grant program in Brunswick will begin Monday morning, April 13th at 10:00.

The City Council on Tuesday approved the program which provides assistance to small businesses that have suffered during the coronavirus pandemic. It will help these companies in paying their mortgage, rent, utilities and over overhead costs incurred following the “Stay At Home” order issued by the Governor on March 30th, city officials say.

Some essential businesses remain open in Brunswick, but many are facing difficulties due to a drop in the number of customers.

These micro-grants are available to businesses in the city of Brunswick and can be combined with state and federal programs. Eligible companies must demonstrate a 50% loss in revenue due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
