Apartment Fire Injures 2

Smoke was seen coming from the building

Hagerstown, Md. (DG) – An apartment fire in Hagerstown on Saturday evening sent two people to the hospital.

The fire broke out just before 7 PM in the 400 block of Jefferson Street in Hagerstown. Smoke with seen coming from the second floor of the building.

Two people were taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.

Firefighters had the flames under control within 10 minutes. The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
