Body found on Sunday near wooded area
Smitthsburg, Md. (DG) – Police are investigating after a body was found in a wooded area near Smithsburg.
Maryland State Police report a citizen found the body at around 3:30 PM on Sunday by Pleasant Valley Road in a wooded area near power lines.
The body was to be sent to the state medical examiner’s office for identification.
