COVID-19 Deaths Inch Up In Frederick County

The number of cases also continues to rise.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) One more death from the COVID-19 virus has been reported in Frederick County, bringing the total up to 26 as of Friday afternoon. The Joint Information Center says there are 557 cases of the coronavirus in the county, which is 30 more than Thursday afternoon.

In Washington County, the Joint Information Center says there are 118 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of Friday afternoon, an increase from 116 the day before.

The Frederick County Joint Information Center reminds residents that the Governor’s Executive Order requiring face coverings go into affect on Saturday, April 18th  at 7:00 AM. Anyone who enters a retail establishment or other essential business must wear a face covering to protect  others  from contracting the coronavirus.
