Fire Causes $100,000 In Damages To Westminster Building

One firefighter was injured after falling through the floor of the building.

Westminster, Md. (DG) – A firefighter was injured early Saturday morning battling a 2-alarm fire in Westminster.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office reports fire crews responded to 1012 Baltimore Blvd. for a building on fire.

It took 50-firefighters thirty minutes to put the flames out. One firefighter was injured after falling through the floor of the building.

Damage is estimated at $100,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
