The death toll is now 40.
Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Health Department is reporting significant jumps both the number of local cases and deaths from COVID-19.
As of Tuesday evening, there were 653 confirmed coronavirus cases in the county, an increase from 632 the day before. There were also 11 more deaths, bringing that number up to 40.
In Washington County, the Joint Information Center says there were 133 COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday evening, an increase from 122 the day before. The number of deaths still stands at two.
