Hagerstown Man Arrested For Armed Robbery Of A Barbershop

He was nabbed on Wednesday.

 

Hagertown, Md (KM) A Hagerstown man is charged in connection with an armed robbery earlier this year.. Eric Steven Crockett, 44, was apprehended on Wednesday by Hagerstown Police and the US Marshal’s Service. Authorities say Crockett was taken into custody in the first block of East North Avenue following a short foot chase.

He’s wanted in Pennsylvania on a felony warrant related to narcotics and firearms charges.

Hagerstown Police say Crockett is charged with a long list of offenses for the robbery of the “Cut Off the Top” barbershop at 107 West Washington Street on January 20th, 2020, including armed robbery, robbery, 1st-degree assault, use of a firearms by a felon in a violent crime, reckless endangerment, having a handgun on his person and false imprisonment. .

Police also say Crockett is chargedĀ  with one count of possession of a narcotic (not marijuana) which was found on his person during his arrest.

He’s currently being held without bond.
