Over 30,000 Coronavirus Cases Reported In Maryland


1,453 have died from the virus in the state


Frederick, Md. (DG) – The Maryland Department of Health is reporting 30,485 cases of coronavirus in the state.

There have been 121,702 negative tests and 1,453 deaths. There are currently 1,674 hospitalizations, and 2,041 have been released from isolation.

Frederick County has 1,171 cases of COVID-19, and 71 people have died. The number of people ever hospitalized with COVID-19 is 87, and 511 have been released from isolation.

Washington County has 265 positive cases, Carroll County 542, Howard County 1,138, and Montgomery County 6,316.

Pennsylvania has 52,915 cases of COVID-19 with 151 in Adams County, and 425 in Franklin County.

West Virginia is reporting 1,310 positive cases of COVID-19. There are 86 cases in Jefferson County, and 177 in Berkeley County.
