Hagerstown, Md (KM) Meritus Health says it’s expanding its COVID-19 testing in Washington County to reach more people..
The hospital says those who do not have symptoms of the coronavirus, but are concerned they have been exposed can visit one of two testing facilities in Hagerstown. No appointments or referrals are necessary.
Meritus Health has drive-through screening behind its Medical Plaza at 13,620 of Crayton Boulevard. The hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday; Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM until 6::00 PM.
There’s also a walk-through screening center at 24 North Walnut Street. Testing is done from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Testing is done by the Meritus Health Laboratory so results are available within 24-hours.
This new service for asymptomatic people follows the direction of Governor Larry Hogan to increase testing in the state, Meritus Health says in a news release.
