COVID-19 Cases, Deaths Continue To Increase In Frederick County

Washington County is also experiencing increases, but much smaller than Frederick County,.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Another increase has been reported in the number of coronavirus cases in Frederick County. As of Tuesday afternoon, the Health Department says there are 1,321 cases of COVID-19 in the county, a jump of 21 from Monday.

The number of deaths is now 83, which is up from 81 from Monday, the Health Department says.

In Washington County, the Joint Information Center reports as of Tuesday afternoon, there 290 confirmed coronavirus cases, which is an increase of four from the day before.

The number of deaths from COVID-19 is 12, one more than on Monday, according to the Joint Information Center.  .

Across the state, the Maryland Department of Health is reporting 34,061 coronavirus cases as of Tuesday, which is a jump of 688 from Monday.

The number of deaths statewide from COVID-19 is 1,643, up by 70 from the day before.
