Over 2500 Have Recovered From COVID-19 In Maryland

Health officials reporting over 35,000 cases of coronvirus


Frederick, Md. (DG) – The Maryland Department of Health says the number of coronavirus cases in the state is 35,903 .

There have been 142,551 negative tests and 1,748 deaths. There are currently 1,538 hospitalizations, including 969 in acute care and 569 in intensive care. There have been 2,569 people released from isolation.

Frederick County has 1,347 cases of COVID-19, and 83 people have died. The number of people ever hospitalized with COVID-19 is 93, and 624 have been released from isolation.

Washington County has 306 positive cases, Carroll County 619, Howard County 1,285, and Montgomery County 7,548.

Pennsylvania has 58,698 cases of COVID-19 with 169 in Adams County, and 545 in Franklin County.

West Virginia is reporting 1,427 positive cases of COVID-19. There are 95 cases in Jefferson County, and 200 in Berkeley County.
