Frederick, Md. (DG) – The 15-year-old boy who was involved in a deadly assault last year at the Great Frederick Fair has a deposition hearing this afternoon.
The hearing will determine if the youth should remain in custody until he completes a six- to eight-month program, or will be allowed to complete the program with relatives.
The 15-year-old and his 16-year-old brother were arrested following the assault of 59-year-old John Weed of Mount Airy last September. Weed died the next day.
In April the teen pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
