Brunswick Allows Businesses To Reopen-Breaking From County Executive’s Order

After consulting with their attorney, Brunswick decided to follow the Governor’s order and allow businesses to reopen with restrictions

Brunswick, Md. (DG) – The City of Brunswick is breaking away from Frederick County’s ‘stay at home’ policy and allowing businesses to reopen.

After consulting with the city’s attorney, Brunswick officials decided to follow Governor Larry Hogan’s Executive Order which allows more businesses and services to reopen.

The Governor’s plan allows flexibility for counties to refrain from reopening if local officials don’t believe they are ready. County Executive Jan Gardner said Frederick County is not, and only a few businesses may reopen at this time. Small businesses with less than ten-thousand square feet of space and dog groomers.

Hair salons, barber shops, and churches are closed until May 29th.
