60-residents of nursing homes/assisted living centers have died from COVID-19
Frederick, Md. (DG) – More than 50-percent of the deaths from the coronavirus in Frederick County are from nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
There are 101 deaths from COVID-19 reported in the county, with 60 coming from nursing homes or assisted living centers. There have been 262 residents of nursing homes or assisted living facilities who tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to it’s website, the Frederick County Health Department says the total number of people who have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic began is 1,742. There have been 1,034 people released from isolation.
