COVID-19 Cases Continue To Climb In Frederick County

Recent reported deaths go up by one.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) As of Wednesday afternoon, there are 1827 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Frederick County, which is 55 more than on Tuesday.. That’s according to the County Health Department which also says 270 nursing home patients and 168 staff have come down with the coronvirus.

There are also 106 deaths as of Wednesday afternoon, that’s one more compared to Tuesday. The agency also says  1103 patients have been released from isolation as of Wednesday.

In Washington County, 424 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported as of Wednesday, according to the Joint Information Center, which also says 264 patents have been released from isolation.

There are still only 12 deaths from the coronavirus in Washington County.

The Maryland Department of Health says as of Wednesday there are 48,423 COVID-19 cases across the state, an increase of 73 from Tuesday. The number of deaths stands at 2,270, up by 53 from the day before.
