Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County continues to experience increases in the number of COVID-19 cases. The Health Department says as of Friday afternoon, there are 1880 cases of the coronavirus in the county, an increase of 29 since Thursday. There are 1176 patients who have been released from isolation, up from 28 from the day before.
The number of dearths remains at 107 with no increases within the past 24-hours.
In Washington County, the Joint Information Center say as of Friday afternoon there are 455 confirmed cases of COVID-19, which is an increase of 24 from the day before.
The number of deaths remains at 12, and the number of patients released from isolation is 264. Neither statistic increased on Friday, according to the Joint Information Center.
The Maryland Department of Health reports 50,988 COVID-19 cases across the state as of Friday. That’s an increase of 1,279 from Thursday.
The agency says deaths stand at 2,348 as of Friday, a jump of four from the day before.
