Governor Issues Emergency Orders

One extends the prohibition against utility cutoffs.

 

 

Annapolis, Md (KM) Governor Larry Hogan issued two new emergency orders on Friday in light of the COVID-19 crisis.

One extends the prohibition against the cutoff of electric, water, gas sewage, phone, cable TV and internet services for customers until July 1st. .

The Governor’s second order allows state-licensed breweries, wineries and distilleries to serve alcoholic beverages in outdoor seating areas consistent with Maryland Department of Health directives for restaurants and bars. The order also allows third-party shipments of alcoholic beverages to customers by common carriers such as FedEx of UPS.
