Local COVID-19 Cases Pass 2,000 Mark

The Health Dept. says deaths increased by two.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Frederick County have passed 2,000. . The Health Department says as of Tuesday afternoon, there were 2,013 cases locally, an increase of 52 from Monday. The number of deaths went up by two to 110.

But there were 1284 people who have been released from isolation, that’s ten more than on Monday. .

In Washington County, the Joint Information Center reports 480 confirmed coronavirus cases as of Tuesday afternoon, which is five more than on Monday. The number deaths from COVID-19 went up two to 15.

As of Tuesday, the Joint Information Center says there are still 264 coronavirus patients who have been released from isolation.
