COVID-19 Cases Continue Increasing In Frederick County

The local positivity rate is 4.3%

 

 

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Health Department says 2,486 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 as of Monday afternoon. That’s 15 more than on Sunday.

The number of confirmed coronavirus deaths is 110, no change from the day before.                                                                                                                                                  

The seven-day positivity rate is 4.3% That’s the percentage of people who tested positive over a seven-day period out of all of those who were tested for COVID-19. Frederick County’s positivity rate is lower than the state’s rate.

The Maryland Department of Health says as of Monday there are 67,254 positive coronavirus cases in the state, which is 477 more than on Sunday. There are 3,48 deaths. The posiitivity rate statewide is 4.84%
