Frederick Man Suspected Of Being At-Fault Driver In Deadly Crash

The crash killed a member of a highway worker.                                                                                                                                             

 

 

Ellicott City, Md (KM) State Police say a Frederick man is the suspected at-fault driver in connection with a crash in Howard County early Thursday morning.

Troopers say Frank William Hall, 38, was traveling eastbound along Interstate 70 near Route 29 in Elllicott City when he swerved his Jeep Wrangler which crashed into a work truck along the highway, killing 34-year-old Christopher Marsden, 34, of New Jersey.   Marsden was standing outside of a  work truck when he was struck.

The accident also injured two other men from New Jersey who was both transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.,

The three victims were part of a State Highway Administration crew who were getting ready to do some overnight roadwork.

State Police say charges are pending following the outcome of the investigation. Troopers also say they’re investigating whether speed and alcohol may be factors in this crash.

The debris field left by the accident was extensive.
