Frederick Police Investigate Shooting

One person was shot multiple times; suspect still at large.                                                          

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) One man was shot Thursday night in Frederick.

Shortly before 6:30 PM, police responded to the 100 block of Key Parkway for a shooting., where they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Officers and EMS provided initial care to the victim. He was medivaced by State Police helicopter to an area trauma center for treatment. The man is currently in stable condition.

Detectives interviewed potential witnesses and canvassed the area for evidence. They believe the suspect is a black male who fled the scene on foot. Police say the incident does not appear to be random.

The investigation is continuing.
