Maryland Health Department reporting over 900 new coronavirus cases
Frederick, Md. (DG) – Over 900 new coronavirus cases were reported in Maryland this weekend.
The Maryland State Health Department is reporting there were 925 new COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began to 78,131.
The number of deaths from the coronavirus is 3,247. There are 449 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 131 are in intensive care.
In Frederick County there have been 2,722 cases of the coronavirus reported. Within the last 24-hours there have been 22 new cases. The number of deaths is 113.
There are 748 cases of coronavirus in Washington County and 29 deaths.
