Truck Cab Destroyed in Manchester Fire

The blaze caused $35,000 damage.                                                                                       

 

 

Manchester Md. (RD) – At 11:03 PM Saturday evening, the Manchester Fire Department responded to the 4500 block of Wentz Road for a reported vehicle fire.

Fire Officials said upon arrival they found a 2000 Peterbuilt 379 Sleeper cab in flames. The vehicle was owned by Liberty Haulers and suffered and estimated $35,000 damage. It took 10 firefighters about 20 minutes to control the flames.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Anyone with information about this blaze is asked to call the Regional Tip Hot Line at 410-386-3050.
