Frederick County Grand Jury Returns 11 Indictments.

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury returned 11 indictments on Friday.

The panel charged Elvin Maxwell Addison, Jr., 40,   of Frederick. He’s charged with attempted 1st- and 2nd-degree murder; 1st- and 2nd-degree assault; firearms offenses, including use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence,; failure to return and remain at the scene of an accident involving a damaged to an attended vehicle; 2nd-degree assault on a law enforcement officer; attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

Addison was arrested on May 26th following an assault. State’s Attorney Charlie Smith says it was for an incident on Winchester Street in Frederick. “What happened was the defendant wound up shooting at the victim’s head, grazing the victim, missed the victim. Then after that, he got hold of the victim, beat him and left with his car,” says Smith

Addison was stopped by police along West Patrick Street. “They did apprehended him. He resisted arrest, wound of biting one of the officers involve, and attempted to disarm that officer. So he faces over a dozen charges related to that offense,”: says Smith.

 

Other indictments include:

 

* Zaki Love, 51, of Frederick, whose charged with 1st-degree assault; 2nd-degree assault; and possession a dangerous weapon with intent to injure for an incident which occurred on April 24th, 2020.

* Shan E. Oney, 37, of Frederick, whose charged with 1st-degree assault, and two counts of 2nd-degree assault for  incidents which occurred on May 25th and 27th, 2020.

* William Thomas Gorman, 50, of Middletown, Md, whose charged 2nd-degree child abuse by a custodian, 1st-degree assault and two counts of 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred on March 3rd, 2020.

* Alexander De Jesus Arguetta, 23, of Walkersville, Md. whose charged with two counts each of 2nd-degree rape, and 2nd-degree sex offenses for incidents which occurred from January 1st, 2017 to September 30th, 2017. (Supplemental indictment)

* Renee Marie Casey, 46, of Berkeley Springs, WV, whose charged with distribution and possession with intent to distribute a fentanyl/heroin mix; possession with intent to distribute heroin; conspiracy/possession with intent to distribute heroin; possession with intent to distribute cocaine; conspiracy/possession with intent to distribute cocaine; possession of cocaine; possession of Methamphetamine for an incident which occurred on March 12th, 2020.

* Kevin Eugene Mack, 39, of Frederick, whose charged with distribution of drugs with a firearm; use of a firearm in drug trafficking; possession with intent to distribute Methamphetaine; possession with intent to distribute marijuana; possession of firearm with a felony conviction; 2nd-degree assault; illegal possession of a regulated firearm; having a handgun on his person; illegal possession of ammunition; possession of Methamphetamine; and possession of ten grams or more of marijuana for an incident which occurred on May 2nd, 2020.

* Taurean Edward Wright, 36, of Frederick, whose charged with 1st-degree assault; two counts of 2nd-degree assault; disorderly conduct; and two counts of reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on July 1st, 2020.

* William Travis Higgins, 29, of Frederick, whose charged with three counts of 1st-degree assault; three counts of 2nd-degree assault; and three counts of reckless endangerment for an incident which occurred on June 26th, 2020

* Jose David Silva, 28, of Frederick, whose charged with five counts of promotion and distribution of child pornography with intent to possess; and 20 counts of possession of child pornography for incidents which occurred from February 20th, 2020 to May 14th, 2020.

* Jeffrey John White, 53, of Woodsboro, Md, whose charged with ten counts of promotion and distribution of child pornography with intent to possess for incidents which occurred on April 14th and 15th, 2020.

Indictments move these cases to Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.

The State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are charging documents and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
