Montgomery County Police Charge Suspect In A Homicide

Germantown, Md (KM) Charges have been filed in connection with a homicide in Germantown last week Montgomery County Police say Justin Andrew Wilson, 26, of Germatown is charged with 1st-degree murder for the stabbing death of Edigio Ienzi, 63, also of Germantown. .

Police say the murder occurred on July 23rd at Ienzi’s home on Duhart Court in Germantown. A family member who was asleep upstairs was awakened by a loud noise, and the sound of the victim yelling. She went downstairs and saw Ienzi struggling with another man. She went back upstairs and called 911. The family was able to provide a description to responding officers.

Detectives say they were able to identify Wilson as the suspect after interviews with the victim’s family, and reviewing surveillance video. They also said Wilson had been at the home three to four weeks ago, and Ienzi noticed numerous silver coins were missing from the residence.

Wilson was arrested in Virginia on Tuesday. He’s being held at a facility in Stafford County pending extradition to Maryland.
