Frederick Police Say Death Of Woman Found Last Week Is A Homicide

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police say the death of a woman whose body was found last week near Rock Creek at Waverly Drive is a homicide. The State Medical Examiner’s Office has made that determination.  Detectives say the victim was stabbed.

The victim is identified as Kelly Meadows Serra, 37, of Frederick. An officer in the area on Wednesday morning, July 29th, found the victim in a wood line.

Detectives say they are continuing to investigate and pursue leads in this case, but note this is an isolated incident. .
